Sharing the same passion for exceptional timepieces, both Richard Mille and Laurent Picciotto are delighted to announce the launch of the latest addition to the Richard Mille collection; the RM 010 Chronopassion Limited Edition.

This new model marks a celebration of and testament to the long standing friendship and business partnership between Richard Mille and Laurent Picciotto, owner of Chronopassion.


Since 1988 Chronopassion’s international clientele on the Rue Saint-Honoré have benefited from a unique experience, appreciating trends and technique; as well as attention to detail and refinement.


The new RM 010 Chronopassion Limited Edition is an adaptation of the original RM 010 and one of the few exclusive limited edition pieces Richard Mille has collaborated on. Unlike the RM 010 this piece has a black DLC finish on the case with a specially chosen blue super luminova to mark the numerals. It comes on a rubber strap with black DLC buckle and is limited to 50 pieces.


“This watch is a three-dimensional watch. The Black matches perfectly, the polished finish with the micro-surface and different shades creating piling up effects – it is as tactful as “haute couture”. The rotor mechanism has a wonder of shades; the materials are all different, from gold to titanium, etc… We are in a magical world, the product needs to be seen to be understood. It drives you crazy, it has a magical dimension” says Richard Mille.


“We thought that by creating a RM010 Black, with blue hands and superluminova dial, we would achieve a very special watch. When I first saw the prototype, I thought: I want one!” says Laurent Picciotto.


The Chronopassion Limited Edition RM 010 will be available from May 2009 at the Chronopassion Boutique, 271 rue St Honoré. 75001 Paris.
