The House of Cartier, one of the most prestigious watch-making firms in the world, has opened a new chapter in its history by joining the extremely select group of watch manufactures certified to display the Geneva Seal. This highly sought-after stamp seals the installation of Cartier Watch-Making in Geneva, where its master craftsmen have developed and crafted the calibre 9452 MC* that now bears this greatly coveted certification. Created in the 19th century by a guild plagued by counterfeit products, the Geneva Seal is currently considered to be the symbol of watch-making perfection. Enacted into law in 1886... 
On June 18th, 2005, Angelo Bonati, CEO of Officine Panerai, gave the starting signal for the first Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge in Porto Santo Stefano (Italy). This small Tuscan port, nestled at the foot of Mount Argentario, was proud to welcome some fifty of the last century’s finest classic yachts. Three Challenges later, the celebrated Italian brand had an opportunity to make known the values it shares with dedicated followers of classic sailing boats... 
Internationally renowned German actress Diane Kruger becomes the feminine face of Jaeger- LeCoultre and will wear its watches in her daily life and on the red carpet. The iconic Reverso, the 101 watch and the jewellery-watch lines designed and crafted in the workshops of the Manufacture will travel on the wrist of their new emissary from Paris to New York via Berlin, Cannes, Venice and Miami. As a Jury member of the Berlin Film Festival, Diane Kruger has contributed to revealing Jaeger- LeCoultre's unique expertise on one of the most prestigious stages of the European film scene... 
For the third consecutive year, following on from Meg Ryan, Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Basinger and Gary Sinise, the Baume & Mercier image is to be represented by a pair of Hollywood luminaries: Teri Hatcher and Ashton Kutcher. The brand remains true to its approach of capitalizing on its values and particularly on the close ties it develops with the people who wear its watches. As in the two previous Baume & Mercier campaigns, the new one is based on supporting a good cause... 
The watchmaking brand already developed links with polo in 2007 by teaming up with the Saint-Tropez Polo Club and creating a limited edition of the Big Bang featuring the club logo. In 2008, it will be present at Gstaad as sponsor of one the tournaments of the World Ranking List ― at the “16-18 goals handicap” level. This means closer ties with the equestrian world, featuring the most important tournament on grass in Switzerland, which takes place every year in August on the airfield of the Bernese resort...
