Richard Mille wins at Le Mans Classic Japan

The Watch Quote™ - November 29th, 2007

Three days of race, three grids, fifty competitors, a large audience… le Mans Classic Japan, has, for its second edition, attracted a lot of motor sport fans as well as famous drivers such as Jurgen Barth et Yohiro Terada.

Richard Mille was there of course as a main sponsor but as a competitor as well.

Richard Mille had picked up Sinji Nakano, the former F1 pilot as co-driver (Prost Grand Prix) . He has so been able to get used to the Fuji circuit.

Saturday, the team Mille/Nakano was already second of the third grid after the overall classification and the final index of performance.

Sunday 11 november, the second range of races helped to determine the winners of the three competing grids..

At the end, the team ranked first of the final overall index of performance from grid 3.

A great victory which allows Richard Mille to qualify for le Mans Classic which will take place begining July 2007 on the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit. Since 2002 Richard Mille is the official timekeeper of this mythical race.
