Citius – Faster…

Designed like a racing car, the new DEFY makes a powerful statement with its muscle-bound chassis, its racy profile, and athletic build. On the wrist it is impressive and compelling, thanks also to the different watch diameters, which vary according to the movement: 46.5 mm for the El Primero chronograph or 43 mm for the Elite series. Everything is geared to making the watch stand out and be different: from the decorative screw heads in the rotating bezel, to the articulated stainless steel bracelet. It is to watchmaking what the Formula 1 is to the automobile industry: focused high-tech at the service of pure emotion.

Altius – Higher…

A combination of innovative materials equips these timepieces with a movement and a case body intended for use under extremeconditions: unbreakable, able to withstand high temperatures and pressure. They are the product of three years of R & D into the associated physical and chemical properties of these materials. The result is Zenithium, an exclusive ultralight, ultraresistant alloy, from which bridges of the movements are made.

Fortius – Stronger…

The DEFY CLASSIC collection is already amazing. Its virile silhouette, dynamic lines and elegant power suggest a particular lifestyle: the GT Coupé in the garage, the yacht in the marina, and the private jet at the airport. But Zenith has hit home even harder. Designed by a fearless and unfettered imagination the DEFY XTREME collection cannot be described, it must be experienced. It is an uncaged thoroughbred, an angry beast, aggressive, wild, extravagant, out of this world.

At this point others would have stopped. ZENITH however contin-ued, pushing the limits, delivering a unique and prodigious product. Water-resistant to 1,000 m, the case is entirely in black titanium, with a satin-finish bezel and case band, with polished screw heads; a slightly raised helium valve allows for decompression under extremeconditions; carbon fibre inserts make the push-buttons special, multilayered dials combining honeycomb aluminium, shock-resistant Hesalite and carbon fibre; the bracelets blend brushed stainless steel and composite materials reinforced by Kevlar® lateral inserts. A singular philosophy: to perform, to resist, and to stun.

The DEFY XTREME TOURBILLONis positioned at the precise intersection between technology and high-class watch making. Equipped with the El Primero 4035 SX movement, its beauty is breath taking; the bridge of the tourbillon is a helicoidal disk, the date indication encircles the carriage, the hands on the dials recall the streamlined wheel rims of a concept car. A see-through structure gives a view of the upper plate with its screws and motion works.

In the DEFY XTREME OPEN, the El Primero 4021 SX roars at 36,000 vibrations per hour, protected by a special blade on which the 3-branched second hand revolves. The power reserve is split into sectors, all hands have red Superluminova® inserts: colours show off delight… beneath the translucid glass the wheeling movement can be made out. Playing with light, the dancing, rotating luminous hands spelling out the contained power of a high-speed harmonic calibre for future generations.

The DEFY XTREME CHRONOGRAPHE model flaunts the luxury of symmetry in a world of high performance. The El Primero movement with its three mobile counters is highly legible being able to display time intervals to a 10th of a second thanks to the multi-helical hands. A lens magnifies the date.

Lastly, the DEFY XTREME POWER RESERVE contains an Elite 685 SXmovement. The suspended power reserve gives it depth. The black of the carbon fibre dominates the dial to give the watch a certain sportive sobriety.
