The world of Corum at your fingertips

to discover the world of the watch brand through its collections, current news and a competition

The Watch Quote™ - November 30th, 2011

Watchmaker Corum is joining the world of digital tablets and launching its dynamic iPad application today, which invites users to discover the world of the watch brand through its collections, current news and a competition.

Current
Like a Corum media library, the brand’s current innovations are constantly updated on the application. Brand events are presented through photos and videos – new model launches, sailing news, presence in the world – with rich content, available everywhere, anytime.

Original
Corum invites visitors to discover the brand’s skill, values and aesthetics through its watches. The collection is presented in an original way with a mood selector – in other words, by selecting from a range of key words related to atmosphere, an emotion, or a specific context, the user will find the watch that best suits him or her. Watches can also be viewed more conventionally, through a catalogue with descriptions of the watches. As the magic begins to weave its spell, the Retailers section with a list of Corum points of sale and their geolocalisation will show the nearest outlet.

Fun
Experts on Corum, and especially on the Admiral’s Cup collection, can try their hand at the Flag game competition. The best participant to replace the nautical flags (characteristic of the brand and which represent the hours) back in their correct places in record time – will win a weekend for two people at an America’s Cup World Series event.

Social
Readers are also invited to share the latest features, favourite watches or their score in the Flag Game with friends on Facebook or by email.

The Corum application is downloadable free of charge as of now. There will soon be further developments with the addition of a brand and skill space, as well as a partner section. The latter promises to be riveting with hot off the press information on Ben

Ainslie’s 2012 Olympic participation, following the Energy Team at the America’s Cup and Loïck Peyron at the Jules Verne Trophy, as well as Didier Cuche’s exploits in the Ski World Cup.
